Hello there, my name is Katie and I have just started writing a blog called "All That Glitters Silver." I would like to thank Amy for this opportunity to write a guest post for her blog.
Today I would like to tell you about my evening skin care routine. I am a skin care nut. It's the first thing my Mum taught me when I became a teenager. I've tried all kinds of brands from Simple, Clarins, Dermalogica and Guinot (a French make, we used to spend a lot of time there). I went for a facial 3 summers ago where I first got to try Elemis, it was amazing how much my skin changed over night. So I have bought a few products from QVC and I can't tell you how much I love all their range.
There is nothing I love more than taking my make up off when you've had a long day at work, I find it's my way to relax. I like to start by taking my eye make up off. I use Simple eye make up remover. It works the best for me. I use a different pad for each eye. I put a few drops on the pad, hold on my eye for a few seconds and gently wipe away.
Before I get into the shower I like to apply Elemis Melting Cleansing Gel. This literally melts my make up away. Apply to dry skin and massage in. Once you wet your fingers the gel turns into milk. It does a fantastic job at taking my make up off.
For a deep cleanse I like to use Elemis Pro Radiance Cream Cleanser. This is a very thick cleanser and I like to work this into the skin to ensure that all of the dirt is out. To take it off, I use a face cloth.
I'm a big fan of toner, always have been and at the minute I'm loving Elemis Balancing Lavender Toner. I like to spray one pump on a pad and wipe over my face. I find this so refreshing.
My favourite bit of my whole routine is moisturising. Elemis Fresh Skin Dreamy Sleep night time moisturiser is the best one I've come across. It is important to use a different moisturiser for day and night as at night your skin is repairing while you sleep. After doing my routine my skin is left feeling soft and clean.
I hope you have enjoyed reading my post while Amy has been in Disney. Please stop by my blog sometime!
