Purity Skincare - Part 1/3

Purity Organic Skincare was a brand I hadn't heard much about until recently. Using intelligent ingredients, Purity's aim is to create sustainable, organic and cruelty free beauty - with 98% of their ingredients deriving from natural origins. They are purse friendly too, their products priced from £4.99 to £8.99.

When Purity were asking for bloggers to try out some products on Twitter, I jumped at the chance. I'm always looking for good quality, affordable, organic skincare so this was the perfect opportunity! Only expecting to be sent one or two things from their range, I was gobsmacked when I realised they'd sent me all but one of their products to try!

I'm splitting these reviews into 3 parts, rather than combining it into one huge post. Today I'm reviewing the Conditioning Cleansing Lotion and the Facial Exfoliator.

I was a bit concerned that I wasn't going to love this after finding such a perfect match in Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish, but boy was I wrong! Although my skin admittedly doesn't love it as much, the Purity Conditioning Cleansing Lotion certainly does the job. I found this lotion to be a little bit on the watery side in terms of the consistency, but it removes makeup so well and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. I use this with a muslin cloth after, due to force of habit! If I'm feeling a bit out of pocket after running out of my Cleanse and Polish, this will definitely be my go to cleanser.

I found this exfoliator intriguing, as I'd never heard of ground coconut shell being used in skincare before! It's a little harsher on my skin than other exfoliators, but not in a damaging way. I've noticed my skin looking clearer and more awake after using this, something I look for after dragging myself out of bed in the morning!  The exfoliator also contains coconut oil, sweet almond oil, glycerine and aloe vera. Another winning product for me, I've found myself using this as opposed to my pricier Sanctuary exfoliator. I use this twice a week in the mornings.

Part two will contain reviews of the Purity Facial Wash and the Anti-Ageing Serum and Mask. Have you tried any Purity products yet?
