Say hello to my favourite perfume. Ever! And trust me, that is a hard award to win. My love affair with Guerlain's "La Petite Robe Noire" began after I ordered a sample from the Boots website back in September.
There are very mixed reviews on this fragrance floating around, and I can see why some people won't like it. It's a very sweet scent with an instant hit of black cherry, but at the same time it's unlike any perfume I've ever smelled before. Other notes include almond, berries, rose, liquorice, black tea, tonka bean, vanilla and patchouli.
I've found that the scent lasts on me all day, which is a quality none of my other perfumes have, and another thing I adore is the bottle. It is designed so well and it looks gorgeous sitting on my chest of drawers.
I honestly cannot rave enough about this perfume, and while it may not be to everyone's tastes, if it sparks your interest I strongly suggest to go ask for a sample at a Guerlain counter!
Have you tried La Petite Robe Noire? What are your thoughts?
