Spending Ban Update #1

Today marks the first week of my spending ban, and I've found it quite smooth sailing so far!

I've found quite a few good blog sales floating around, which has been tempting, but I really don't need any more makeup at the moment! I got my beauty fix on Saturday by using up my £25 John Lewis voucher and treating myself to the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask, which I've found to be fab both times that I've used it!

I treated my sister to a cinema trip to see the new Les Miserables (2.5 hours of emotional trauma!) and equally as traumatising was the cost of two drinks and a medium bucket of popcorn, £9.85! I also bought some necessities for the rats (food and litter) and a box of grapes to keep in the fridge at work, bringing my total spend to around £26. Not bad for my first week!

Me and Lewis also booked ourselves a trip to Prague, 4 nights at the Barcelo Praha Five including flights for £229 each. I'm allowing myself holidays because travelling is something I really do enjoy! We fly on the 24th March, which coincides with the spending ban (oops) but nevertheless I'm excited!

Are you taking part in the spending ban? How is it going for you? For a full list of who's taking part with links to updates, please see here.
