Spending Ban Update #3

Three weeks and I cracked.

If it wasn't for all these amazing new releases, I would have been fine! I still believe I'm doing well, though. On Sunday, I "accidentally" wandered into Boots and picked up one of the Rimmel Apocalips in the shade Stellar. It could have been worse - they were on a 3 for 2 and I limited myself, something I wouldn't normally be able to resist.

I also treated my sister to the Celestial moisturiser from Lush when we were out with my boyfriend. She suffers from eczema and had been getting it on her eyelids, and her current products were stinging. We went to the cinema too, which Lewis kindly paid for, but I offered to pay for the food & drink which left me £17.60 out of pocket (for 3 drinks and two B&J ice creams!).

A severe case of nausea woke me up at 2:30am on Tuesday morning, and after trying numerous times to get myself back to sleep, I ended up on my laptop. On Twitter. Where I saw tweets mentioning that the new Urban Decay Oz Palettes were available to buy online from Debenhams. Along came 3:30am and I'd placed my order for the Glinda palette. Although I did manage to find a discount code and got £3.50 off!

I'll admit I've been pretty bad this week, but my total spend came to  £66.84 which I don't think is awful. Although I can definitely see myself slipping when the MAC Archie's Girls collection is released on the 8th Feb!

    1. I think most people have actually cracked for those, so I feel less guilty!

  3. I think it sounds like you've done okay!! For having been so good for so long you could have done much worse (like gotten the 3 for 2 deal, bought both of the Oz palettes, etc.), plus some of the things were kindnesses to your loved ones :) I'm excited to see a review on the Glinda palette... it's something I've been resisting but think it looks so absolutely lovely and wonderful!!

    1. Yeah I'll definitely be popping a review up once I've tried it out! Unfortunately though I work 9-5 and when I arrive home it's too dark for good quality pictures, so will definitely be taking some over the weekend!

  4. I don't blame you for cracking - I want those Apocalips so bad! I'm actually thinking that it might be OK if I pay for them with my Boots points? And those UD palettes look so good too! x

    1. Yeah picking up one with some points won't hurt ;) Although I would warn you that they are insanely transferable, they get on everything! x

    1. Thanks Emelie! I add a few adjustment layers on Photoshop and that's about it, I might stick up a post with a few colourings in the near future :)

  6. I have just come to the end of my fourth week and so far so good. Mainly because I haven't been shopping yet. I've managed to keep myself away from the city centre and all the shops. However, my lovely grandparents just sent me some money so that will probably change very soon.
