On Saturday my boyfriend and I journeyed up to Edinburgh for the weekend. I'd been to the zoo plenty of times as a kid, but never to Edinburgh itself so I was really quite excited. We stayed in the Residence Inn by Marriott, which was beautifully designed and even had a kitchen. I'd highly recommend visiting the city, the architecture is stunning and there's so much to do. I'd love to go back and experience the Underground Ghost Tour! Here's a few snaps from our trip.
The National Museum of Scotland is well worth a trip, there is a ton to see! I'd also recommend Frisky, the frozen yoghurt shop, Papii for the most amazing breakfast waffles and a browse around Harvey Nichols (which has a Space NK inside too). Have you ever been to Edinburgh? What would you recommend?
*If you're wondering what on earth is going on with the topless guy, I have no idea either. He just whipped his shirt off and started doing pushups! People are odd.

Edinburgh is such a gorgeous city! I haven't been since I was around 17 and I'd love to go back with my boyfriend and see it together. I've been on the Ghost Tour and got so freaked out by it! I love the Haymarket with all its lovely quirky shops xx
ReplyDeleteI hate ghost related things but at the same time I find it interesting and hilarious being frightened, wish I'd remembered! The Haymarket was lovely! xx
DeleteHahahah I love the shirtless guy doing pushups in front of the bagpipe man. Very fun pictures, it looks like a great time :)
