Spending Ban Update #9

I messed up (again) this week. After all of the posts I'd seen on Dainty Doll products for £1.99 on Fragrance Direct, I couldn't help but place an order. I picked up a concealer pen, a blusher, eyeshadow and eyeshadow base. It only came to £10, but I still consider that as something I shouldn't have bought! Because I've messed up a few times during the ban, I'm adding two weeks on to compensate for them.

Other than that I've done quite well, buying essentials for the ratties and cinema tickets to see Oz the Great and Powerful on Sunday night. It's a brilliant film, I'd wholeheartedly recommend seeing it, and the 3D effects were fab! I'm buying carpet for my new bedroom this weekend, so I'll be kissing goodbye to another £100!

If you're taking part in the spending ban I'd love to know how you're getting on!

    1. Haha the words "spending ban" and "haul" really don't sound like they go together! I look forward to reading it :)

    1. It's definitely difficult to refrain from spending if I see something I like but it's really making a difference :)

  3. I honestly okay this spending ban break because if I could buy these products I WOULD!!! I wish I were 'dainty' (read: fair) enough for these products to work on me because they're supposed to be fantastic (and, let's be honest, I ADORE the packaging/mascot girl).

    1. I love the packaging too! The products I got are a little bit hit and miss (two are hit two are miss) but never mind, you live and you learn!

  4. Getting Dainty Doll products for so cheap is worth breaking the ban I think ;)

    1. I'm really surprised I refrained from making an order for so long, actually!

  5. I personally think breaking the ban break is acceptable on this occasion, considering how cheap dainty doll products are! ;) XO

    1. I was tempted on the lipsticks but wasn't sure if any of the colours were for me. I much prefer seeing products in person before buying them but for the price I just thought I'd go for it :)

  7. Definitely going to check out fragrance direct! And you're doing a lot better than me on a spending ban!

  9. I've just started my spending ban! I decided to go on one when after the last trip I couldn't fit the new clothes into my wardrobe! That & I'll be bankrupt from nail polish if I don't stop! So, I've set myself a 40 day ban, no clothes, shoes, make up, polish, jewellery or bags (with one teeny exception for a satchel!). Wish me luck! http://flittychick.blogspot.ie/
