I'm back! Internet has been freshly installed in the house (hello BT Infinity) and I've been itching to get back to blogging. I'll admit I have slightly abandoned the spending ban this week but to compensate I have just added £200 to my savings - I'm now just under £1000 and think I'm well on my way to save for a trip to Florida next year.
Last weekend I popped into TK Maxx, it's one of my favourite places to shop and one I almost never leave empty handed. After finding the beauty section slightly underwhelming I headed towards the homewares, picking up two candles and a photo frame. The Parks London candle immediately caught my eye with the word "Peach" slapped across the bottom. It smells amazing. I've only burnt it once because I'm scared to waste it! They retail for £30.00 but I picked this baby up for only £7.99.
The other candle is from a brand I'm unsure of. Individually they're named after parts of London and this one in particular has notes of currant, verbana and lemon thyme. It's fruity and fresh and perfect for transitioning into spring. It was also £7.99.
Lastly I picked up this gorgeous photo frame for only £4.99. I have a photo of my boyfriend framed in my room but the previous frame was looking a bit worn. With my new bedroom colours & furniture I thought this would look perfect. Have you found any bargains from TK Maxx recently?
