Glitz and Glamour with Betrousse

Betrousse strike again! Their Glitz and Glamour kit contains five full-sized products for only £10, a complete steal as the contents of the box retail at £70. The majority of the products inside are from brands I haven't heard too much about but I'm more than willing to give a go. The box contains the following:-

Fair Naturally Mango and Safflower Body Moisturiser (£3.99)
I'm all for fairtrade products so I was really happy to see this in the box. The mango & safflower moisturiser is made with mango extract and cane sugar to help nourish and condition the skin. It's sweet, but not overpowering and a little goes a long way.

Benta Berry G1 Exfoliating Facial Cleanser for Boys and Girls (£14.00)
Benta Berry products are aimed at the skin concerns of teenagers and young adults and are made with natural ingredients. This exfoliator can be used two or three times a week to clean, damp skin in order to remove impurities and dead cells. I'm yet to give this a go but I'm looking forward to trying it!

Tulecos Tonifying Oil (£33.00)
Another organic product, Tulecos specialise in body oils. This particular oil contains peppermint essential oil and is to be used on the feet to help tonify and moisturise the skin. I've used this a few times and I'm already loving it. My feet aren't admittedly in the best of conditions but this is really improving them.

Jason Normalising Shampoo (£7.29)
Seeing shampoo in a beauty box is quite a nice change. I don't spend a lot of money on hair products because I wash my hair every day (bad beauty blogger, I know) but this is a bit more of an affordable product compared to the likes of Ojon, Bumble & Bumble etc. It's SLS-free so it doesn't foam up quite as well as other shampoos but it smells great. It's actually encouraged to use the normalising shampoo daily so this is just the icing on the cake for me.

Make Believe Shimmer Lip Gloss (£10.00)
This is probably my least favourite item in the box. As we've established before, I'm not a gloss fan and just don't like the tackiness on the lips. This hasn't changed my mind. It's supposed to enhance a tan but as I don't really have one I can't comment on that. Others may like it, but it's not for me.

Overall I think this box is amazing value for money and will use all but one of the products inside. I'd really recommend it if you want to try out brands that you haven't heard of without the large expense that would normally come with them! You can check out Betrousse on their Facebook page here.

    1. It is, I'm not really one for beauty boxes to be honest but I love that you can see what you're getting before hand!
