EOS Sweet Mint Lip Balm

When the lovely Marvelle sent me a little packet of American beauty goodies I was more than pleased to see an EOS lip balm inside. I'd never tried these before and as a lip balm fiend I'm glad I now own one!

I have the Sweet Mint scented balm, which is actually really soothing when applied to the lips. It's cooling and almost tingly, with a hint of sweetness. The scent overall is very pleasant unlike other minty lip products that I've tried (I'm looking at you, Revlon balm stains!).

I've tried the UK "dupe" Balmi, but I have to admit that EOS comes out on top. Balmi products have more of a wet, slippery feeling to them while EOS is more mattifying yet retains moisture nicely. I think it's nice for daytime use, but having dry lips I prefer something a little heavier overnight.

The great thing about these lip balms is that they're petroleum and paraben free and aren't tested on animals, which is a bonus for those who only use organic products. You can buy EOS from Cute Cosmetics for £5.95, which is more expensive than in the US but I can see mine lasting a long time!

  8. I like EOS lip balms but they're definitely not my favourite lip balms. I have a couple of them and they're just easy to toss in my bags.

    1. Yeah I do have a couple others that I prefer as they're a bit more moisturising on the lips, but this has remained in my handbag since I received it, nice to have! xx

  11. I wish I could try these, they seem to be really good as it's not a pot one where you put your finger in to apply and the packaging is cute! x
