Haircare is something I tend to stay away from on PaintPotted, mainly because I admittedly don't take very good care of it. I straighten it pretty much every day, cut it myself, wash it every day and it's only recently that I've become partial to using a few hair products now and again.
However the amount of split ends I've been noticing has put me in panic mode. So I've been trying out the new John Frieda Full Repair range to try and nourish it back to health without making the chop! There's quite a few products in the range, from shampoos to deep conditioning masks to oils. I've been giving the Hydrate and Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner a go as well as the Repairing Oil Elixir and I can't express enough how much of a difference they're making.
I'm fairly new to hair oils - I've tried a couple in the past but never incorporated them into a daily routine. I've been using the Repairing Oil Elixir on the ends of my hair daily before drying to really soften the hair up and prevent it from becoming dry before I've even started styling. I'll admit the first time I used this I went a tad overboard and ended up with a greasy mop, but one pump is all you need to do the job. The shampoo and conditioner are a dream team for my hair, really giving it a good conditioning and smoothing it out, making it easier to put a brush through without any tangling.
I can see these becoming my haircare staples for quite some time while I get my hair back into decent condition, and I'm already looking into the heat protection sprays in the range. If you're interested in winning the Full Repair range as well as a whole load of other pampering prizes, be sure to check out the John Frieda Facebook page.
If you've tried anything from the Full Repair range I'd love to know your thoughts and recommendations!
