On Saturday me and Lewis took a day trip to one of our favourite animal parks, South Lakes Safari Zoo in Dalton-in-Furness. Many of the animals in the park are free roaming, and the ones that aren't have vast enclosures suited to their needs. They also offer animal experiences, such as hand feeding giraffes, penguins, wallabies and birds. South Lakes Safari Zoo are working to save the Sumatran tiger, of which there are only 250-300 remaining in the wild. You can find more about the Sumatran Tiger Trust here.
An adult ticket will only set you back £15.00, which is relatively cheap when you compare it to other zoo entry fees in the UK.
I've compiled some footage from our day into the YouTube video above, so let me know what you think of it!
