A rundown of my current favourite lipsticks:-
I raved about the Dior Fluid Stick in Rieuse here, and proceeded to buy Magique not long after. I really do love the formula; nice and glossy without any stickiness. You can feel the product on the lips, but I don't find it unpleasant, and I'd go as far as saying they're the best glossy lip products I've tried.
The NARS Audacious lipsticks were nothing short of hyped, and I totally bought into it. I have the shade Audrey, a reddish-plum with a totally opaque satin finish. The Audacious lipsticks in my opinion are worth every positive review, and if they weren't as expensive I'd have bought a fair few more already.
YSL Pourpre Intouchable was my first foray into the brand's lipsticks, and despite it still being my only one I absolutely love it. Sheer but buildable with a berry hue and a glossy finish, it glides across the lips with ease and requires no effort at all to wear.
I bought Revlon's Sassy Mauve lipstick while I was in Florida in May. It's a warm, creamy pink with a satin finish. It's actually very similar to MAC's Syrup (which I also bought on the same holiday...) but Sassy Mauve is a little more pigmented with slightly less shine. You can't buy Sassy Mauve over here as far as I'm aware, but Syrup is a nice alternative if you like the shade.
Lastly is Make Up Store's lipstick in Poppy. I became a little bit obsessed with Make Up Store shortly after I started reading Linda's blog and picked up a few things back in April from their London store, including Poppy. It's very creamy with a natural rosy hue and is a great everyday colour. You can actually now buy MUS products from BeautyBay, which is great for those of us who don't live local to London to buy from their Carnaby Street store.
