Hi everyone, hope you're all having a wonderful Christmas break and using your time wisely! By wisely I mean lie ins, pyjama days and eating copious amounts of food in front of the TV. Or Netflix. Or both! I had a lovely day and finished it off by becoming far too addicted to the Tsum Tsum game.
I've written a couple of these posts now so I've decided to continue the tradition and write up another for this year. As usual this is not a bragging post, but rather something for those that, like myself, like to have a nosy at what everyone received.
I love a good hot chocolate so I was pleased to unwrap a Starbucks Cocoa set from my sister. It contains sachets of their double chocolate, salted caramel and regular hot chocolate with marshmallows and they are housed in the cutest little stacking tins. I also received the Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss in Distinction from Lewis. I almost bought one of these last month when the Fenwick sale was on, but the Chanel products weren't included and I put it back. They are the perfect gloss though; they apply smoothly, have an even coverage, just the right amount of shine and a decent pigmentation. I definitely want more!
Lewis also surprised me with a cuddly toy Baymax from Big Hero 6. The film isn't even released in the UK yet and I've already fallen in love with the character, he's so cute. He makes for a really good pillow too!
He also bought me the Mickey Christmas Collection box set, which I will be watching some time this week, and my grandma and grandad bought me an Easy Tease. I was really skeptical of these brushes but they are an absolute godsend for those with easily tangled hair. It's made brushing any knots out a dream!
Another gift from my sister was my first Bobbi Brown lipstick in Heather Pink. She was a bit worried that I'd hate the colour but I absolutely love it. It's the perfect brown-pink and is quickly shifting it's way into my favourite everyday shades.
My mam and dad let me choose a perfume for my Christmas present, and although I've professed my love for Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noire a ridiculous amount of times on here, the bottles can get a tad pricey for how fast I go for them. So I remembered sniffing Lolita Lempicka last year and it having a very similar scent, and since it was only £25 for 80ml I opted for that instead.
The main present from Lewis (and his mam and dad) this year though was a 64GB gold iPad Mini. I'm totally addicted to it already and I'd love some app suggestions!
I also received a lovely Sekonda watch off of my mam and dad. I haven't worn a watch for quite some time but it feels nice to have one on my wrist again and to not have to pull my phone out when I need to know the time.
I received a little selection of Lush goodies from Lewis' parents, all scented with the amazing "Honey I Washed the Kids" fragrance. The "Honey I Washed My Hair" shampoo bar is so good I've ordered a backup in the sale!
I also received this beautiful H! by Henry Holland scarf from Lewis. It's a lovely burgundy colour printed with foxes and flowers and I love it.
On top of all this I received the standard Christmas presents; more chocolate than I could ever eat, socks and bath stuff. I've definitely felt spoiled this year but I am so grateful for everything I've been given.
