Disney World Haul

Before I share a few photos from my Disney World trip on here, I figured I'd do a post on what I bought while I was out there. Because me and Lewis were on the dining plan, we didn't need to spend anything on food while in Disney. In fact, when we were only 4 days from returning home, we realised that we were still spending the money we had left over from last year, so that left us to treat ourselves a bit more.

One of my favourite purchases has to be the drawing of Pongo and Perdita from 101 Dalmations. In the Art of Disney stores around the parks and Downtown Disney, they have artists that can create a drawing especially for you. I ended up ordering from an artist named Monica Willis and it arrived at my resort two days later. I'm so pleased with it and I love that she slipped in a couple of hidden Mickeys! I can't wait to frame it.

The mermaid mug, Bambi frame and Mickey and Minnie vest top all came from the Wonderground Gallery in the Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney. This little section had me obsessed, I wanted everything! The mug was $12.95, frame was $26.95, and the top was $32.95.

I obviously had to add a couple more Tsum Tsums to my ever growing collection. They're a bit more expensive in the US compared to the UK, but Baymax and Duffy were calling out to me. I now have 13 in total and I should probably stop before it gets ridiculous.

I picked up the Marie pen and the Tinkerbell coffee cup from World of Disney, along with an Alex and Ani bracelet (the latter of which I forgot to add into the photos). I can never resist buying Disney themed pens and my mug obsession is spiralling out of control. I bought the classic Cinderella's castle bracelet and I'm hoping to pick up one or two more when I eventually get back out there in October 2016.

The enchanted rose ornament has a bit of a backstory to it. Basically, I bought the small version last year and it sat pretty on my bedside table until Lewis knocked it off and the rose broke off inside. I was absolutely gutted! He felt pretty guilty about it though and bought me the larger version from Arribas Bros. I actually much prefer this one, there's so much more detail to it!

The colourful tubes at the top of the photos are actually bath salts from a shop called Basin. I bought the almond and coconut salts last year and they were heavenly, and since they had 6 tubes for $25 I couldn't resist. They do amazing bath bombs too!

I also bought the limited edition Flower & Garden Festival Dooney and Bourke handbag. On our last night in Epcot I wandered into the Festival Center hoping to buy something small to celebrate having been there at that time of year. Obviously, that something small never happened and I came away with the bag. I don't regret it one bit, I love it.

So, that's everything I picked up from Disney World. If you're visiting a Disney park soon I'd love to know what's on your wishlist!

  4. Looking at your post I've just remembered that around six years ago today I was in Disneyland with my parents, brother, auntie, uncle and two cousins! It was the best holiday I can ever remember! The bambi frame is beautiful! I would do anything to go back!

    1. I shall certainly send a photo across! Pricey but Lewis convinced me to buy it! They had quite a few of the frames, like Stitch and and a duckling, princesses etc.

  7. What a gorgeous haul, Amy! You've picked such a pretty selection of Disney merchandise.

I don't remember spotting The Wonderground Gallery while I was there, which I'm gutted about because the Bambi frame, mermaid mug and Mickey and Minnie vest top are probably my favourite pieces!
